AI Coding Assistant

Paste a chart, get ICD-10 and CPT codes with the rule checks shown. Open, no sign-in.

This is the piece of GetMax you can use without talking to anyone. Paste a note, watch it de-identify, code, and validate — every step visible, including the ones where the rules overrule the model. It is open on purpose: coding is where AI claims are easiest to make and hardest to prove, so we would rather you test it than read about it.

How the AI works

  1. 01

    De-identify first

HIPAA Safe Harbor identifiers are masked to consistent placeholders before the model receives the text. The model never sees the real chart.

  2. 02

    Code

Diagnoses and procedures proposed as ICD-10 and CPT, with structured output rather than free text.

  3. 03

    Check against the rules

Deterministic validation against the live NIH ICD-10-CM set. Where a rule and the model disagree, the rule wins and you see why.

Humans in the loop. By architecture.

The assistant will tell you when it is unsure instead of producing a confident wrong code. Anything ambiguous is meant to reach a certified coder — on a real account it routes to one, and in the open demo it is flagged for you.

Questions, answered

Is it really free to try?+

Yes. There is no sign-in, no trial timer and no card. Open /demo/coding and paste a note. We ask for nothing until you want to talk about running it on real volume.

Can I paste a real chart into it?+

Please don't paste identified patient data into a public demo. The masking runs before the model, but the safe habit is to use a de-identified or synthetic note when you are just evaluating.

Which model is behind it?+

A model GetMax hosts on its own GPUs, not an external AI provider. That is what makes it possible to run clinical text through it at all.
